Let's call the required total donation for the silver category S, and the additional equal donations D.
Then we have 50 + 3D = S.
If S is known, we can solve for D as:
3D = S - 50
D = (S - 50) / 3

What do you mean if S is known? What would be my final answer11/23/19

I didn't see a table in your question, I'm sorry. If the silver category is > $100, then the minimum donation will be (100 - 50) / 3 = 50 / 3, or approximately $16.67. If you need > $500, the minimum donation would be (500 - 50) / 3 = 450 / 3 = $150. If between $100 and $500 fits the silver category, then three additional donations between $16.67 and $150 would qualify.11/23/19
