What are you trying to figure out? Do you need to graph this? If so, plot the point (2, -6) on the graph. It will be on the right side of the Y-axis, and below the X-axis (Quadrant IV). The given slope is 5/2. Remember all slope is, is rise over run (rise/run). Where your point (2,-6) is on the graph, count up 5 marks, then to the right 2 marks. That is where the next point will be. You can draw a line as long as you have two points.

They gave you a slope (m) and a point (x1, y1), so it makes the most sense to use Point-Slope Form.
I provided the equation for Point-Slope form in the video.
- Plug in the given values for m, x, & y.
- Distribute the fraction on the right hand side
- Move the 6 from the left side to the right
- You now have the equation of the line in Slope-Intercept form
