d(1)=√[(1-2)^2+(1^2-6-0)^2]
= √((-1)^2 + (-5)^2)
= √ (1 + 25)
= √26=5.099

Plug x=1 into the equation for d(x), evaluate, and simplify. By the way, did you really mean to say (x^2-6-0)^2 ?10/31/19
