y=3x is a straight line through the origin with a slope of 3
2x-y=-2 or y=2x+2 is a straight line with slope of 2 through the y axis at y=2
2x-y=-2 starts off lower at the y-axis, but rises faster given the higher slope. So, it meets somewhere in the first quadrant.
2x-3x=-2 or -x=-2 x=2 y=3x=3(2)=6 They intersect at (2,6) in the 1st Quadrant
