Solve the system of linear equations by graphing:

x+y=4

x-y=2

Just add them, both sides add both left sides together. Same with both right sides

x+y+4

x-y=2

to get

2x =6 or x=6/2=3

x=3 then 3-y=2 or y=3-2=1

solution is (x,y)=(3,1)
