I don’t get this problem

Keiko, Michael, and Hans have a total of $104 in their wallets. Michael has $8 more than Keiko. Hans has 4 times what Keiko has. How much does each have?

Then, Michael has x+8 dollars and Hans has 4x dollars.

So, x + (x+8) + 4x = 104

6x = 96

x = 16

Kelko has $16, Michael has $24, and Hans has $64.
