In order to solve this problem, we need to figure out how big the floor is, then how many tiles will cover the floor.
To find the area of a rectangle (the shape of the room) we multiply the length by the width. In this case, (8 feet * 10 feet = 80 square feet).'
Each tile is also a rectangle, and multiplying the length and the width again, we get (1 foot * 1 foot = 1 square foot).
To figure out how many tiles fit into the room, we simply divide the area of the room by the area of the tile. (80 square feet / 1 square foot = 80).
And that is the answer. 80 tiles will fit into Sean's bedroom.
