How do you find the perpendicular line to the x axis with a point? exe. (0,1) Parallel? And the same for the y axis?(with a different point say( -3,5))

To pass through (0, 1) the equation is x = 0.

A line parallel to the y-axis has an equation in the for form x = k.

To pass through (-3, 5) the equation is x = -3.
