I'm wondering if by the weeks it meant accually 7 days a week or it just meant the number 2. This may not make sense, but those are my thoughts.

I believe that your answer would be in $ per week. For the unit rate, you are looking for 1 unit in the denominator and in this situation that means 1 week.
