This is a fairly straight forward division problem. Decimals might be the only tricky part if you are not allowed a calculator. If you have a calculator, simply divide 50.00/3.19. The answer you should get is something like 15.67398119. Since it is not recommended to buy a part of a fish (especially if you want them as a pet!), the answer is 15.
If you need to set this up and do it by hand it is 3.19 goes into 50.00. Since you have decimals in the divisor (3.19), you would move the decimal point two places to the right giving you 319. Then you must do the identical thing to the 50.00, making that 5000. 319 goes into 500 one time, place that above the 500, subtract 319 from 500 to get 181, bring down the 0, and 319 goes into 1810 five times, place that above the 0. you are now at the decimal point so you need not go further, based on the whole "part of a fish" thing!
