I can't see the values for the price of the laptop and the sales tax, but what you would do first is take the price of the laptop and multiply it by the sales tax percentage. For example, if the laptop costs $1000 and the sales tax is 7% (aka 7/100 or 0.07), you multiply 1000 x 0.07 = $70. Then you add this amount to the cost of the laptop to get the total amount, so 1000+70 = $1070 total.
