How deep is the bucket?

If a bucket has an area of 24cm² and you put 10L of water in it, how deep will the water in the bucket be?

Think of volume as area x length (in this case depth)

Imagine that you are holding a circular plate with area 24 cm² and moving it in a straight line (depth) that will trace your bucket (volume)

so the area in this case is 24 cm² and Volume of water is 10 L (1 L = 1000 cm³ )

So,24 (area) x Depth = 10000 (volume)

Depth = 10000/24

Depth = 416.67 cm
