If we scale the addition identity, we get (fg)(x) = f(x) * g(x). Using the supplied functions,
(fg)(x) = f(x) * g(x)
(fg)(x) = (x^2 - 9)(x + 1)
(fg)(x) = x^3 + x^2 - 9x - 9
Let me know if that helps!

So it wouldn't be, (fg)(x)=x^3 - 9x^2 -9x -902/04/20
