Four consecutive odd numbers would be
x
x+2
x+4
x+6
Twice the second is 2(x+2)
Added to the last which is x+6 would be
2(x+2)+x+6=25
Distribute the 2
2x+4+x+6=25
Combine like terms
3x+10=25
Subtract the 10 from both sides
3x=15
Divide both sides by 3
x=5
To find the 4 consecutive odd numbers, plug the x back into the 4 original expressions
x=5
x+2=5+2=7
x+4=5+4=9
x+6=5+6=11
