This is a great example of function operations! First, let's find f(-1) and g(-1). To do this, plug -1 in for x in f(x) and again for g(x):
f(-1) = (-1)2+4(-1) = 1 - 4 = -3 g(-1) = 4 - (-1) = 4 + 1 = 5
Now we can find f(-1) + g(-1):
f(-1) + g(-1) = -3 + 5 = 2
