In the question it seems that pH is increasing, that is, acid is being titrated with alkali. Acids are most resistant to neutralization when pH equals its pK value, which means much more alkali has to be added to make a little change in pH. As a result the titration curve is almost vertical there. However, about 2 pH unit above the pK value about 99% of the acid is neutralized.
Therefore the curve reaches plateau above 2 pH unit above pK value of an acid.
