This does not make sense..... the symbol "<" means "less than", so your first equation would be:
"m is less than 1 = 9", which is an invalid statement.

That is incorrect!!!!
angle1 = 9 and angle 2 = angle 1
then angle2 = 9
BUT
if angle 1 = 90
and angle2 = angle 1
then angle 2 = 90
