We are looking for a number that is greater than 36 ( 3 tens and 6 ones) and less than 52. The number also has to include more than 6 ones.
When looking at a two digit number the first number is the tens place and the second number is the ones place.
Lets start with the ones place. Because the number has to have more than six ones the number can only contain a 7, 8, or 9 in the one place. Now we know we are looking for numbers in between 36 and 52 ending in 7, 8, 9.
This leaves the following numbers: 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51
Looking at the numbers we have available to choose from; 37, 38, 39, 47, 48, and 49 all meet the criteria.
These numbers are greater than 36 and less than 52 and have more than 6 ones.
