If there is no air resistance, the energy formula is v = sqrt(2*g*h)
where v = velocity, h = distance dropped, g = gravitational constant, and m = meters , in this case
v = sqrt(2*(9.8m/sec2)*32m) = sqrt(627.2 m2/sec2) = 25.04 m/sec when it hits the ground

You can orient your coordinate system as you choose. I chose positive y to be down!

Wouldn't it also be a negative number because it's dropping rather than floating or flying up? So it would be -25 or -25.04.04/09/21
