A=lw so A=(x+c5)(x+c5) now use FOIL method which means multiply First, Outter, Inner, Last.
ANSWER: x2 + 10xc +25c2
Perimeter- add all 4 sides up x+c5
x+c5
x+c5
x+c5
ANSWER: 4x + c20
Perimeter could also be found by 4(x+c5) distribute to get 4x+c20
