4 7 now double each & the ratio still is the same, so

8 14 now do it again by adding the 4 & 7 with the desired ratio, adding we have

12 21 Now the ratio is still 4/7 i.e 12/21 = 4/7 and now the total is 33..... so the two groups are

12 and 21
