It should be very difficult . Lets assume two numbers as 'x' and 'y'

 

Given x+y = 53  ---->1  and  x -y = 9 or you can rewrite  as x = y+9

 

if you solve 1 & 2         y+9+ y =53 --> 2y+9 = 53 --> 2y = 53-9 --> 2y = 44 --> y =22

 

and   x+22 = 53 --> x = 53-22 --> x = 31
