a. Write and solve an equation to find how much you spend on each CD. Let  represent the price you pay for each CD.


I just need the equation, I've figured out everything else, but i'm still told im wrong every time

The answer below is probably what the problem-writer intended, but do you see why the problem statement could be argued to be ambiguous?

GREAT ANSWER: Note: 80% is 0.80; This means 0.80x + 0.80x + 0.80x + 0.80x = $ 30.40
