Since there are more than 900 tickets sold, we know that we want to create an equality that is greater than 900. We have two options for greater than inequalities: > 900 or ≥ 900. Since it is more than 900 tickets sold, we must use the > 900 because 900 is not included as a possible number of tickets sold. (If it said at least 900 tickets, then we would say ≥ 900)
So we can say t ≥ 900. To graph this, we would draw a dotted line through the point y = 900. The dotted line implies that the 900 is not included as part of the solution. We would then shade in everything above - or greater - than that line to indicate that anything greater than 900 is a possible solution.
