No it doesn't; you see the original 9/(-b+a+3); meaning -9/b+9/4+9/3.
To simplify: " " " =9/(-b+a)+3.

Sorry for the painful formatting but I didn't want to express it using backlashes etc.
Basically wondering if I can simplify parts of a fractions. I know it's probs not simplified but I'm just wondering if what I did keeps the equality. Anyone have a rundown of fraction rules/some articles about fractions which are tip top? Thank you!
