Nine people plan to eat one and a half pizzas between them. If they each eat the same amount, what fraction of a pizza does each person eat?

Let's convert 1 1/2 to a improper fraction (or whatever they call them theses days!)

1 1/2 = 3/2

So if 9 people want to eat 3/2 pizza, we need to divide 3/2 by 9

(3/2)/9 = (3/3)*(1/9) = 3/18 = 1/6

so each person would get 1/6 of a pizza. This makes sense when you think about it.
