Should probably be vs. "should be probably"?

Which one is more correct?> This one should probably be similar to the other one.> This one should be probably similar to the other one.My gut tells me it's the first one, but I'm not sure.

Your gut is right :). In grammar it is better to place the adverb (probably) before the verb or helping verb (be). Granted, "should be" is the whole verb statement, but the main verb "be" is being modified by the the adverb. However, you could just completely eliminate the word "probably" and the sentence would still make sense, but between the two choices the first is the correct one.
