Atlantic hurricanes go West due to the winds created by the Earth spinning. Hurricanes which hit land in the Gulf of Mexico or the Eastern sea coast of the United States were started off the coast of central Africa and moved by the winds to the West.
Can an Atlantic hurricane enter Mediterranean sea?
I can't find any examples, has it just never happened before or is it impossible because of environmental factors?
