Let's "reason" this through.
First: We know the digits add up to 8. That means these are our original number choices

Reversing the two digit number does not change it with 44. So that is not our answer.
It seems like all of the first three numbers would work: 17 reversed is 71 which is larger than the original.
35 reversed would be 53 which is larger than the original. 26 reversed would be 62 which is larger than the original.
So I think there are three correct answers, unless there are more limitations than given here. They are:
17, 26, 35
