The balances in two separate bank accounts that grow each month at different rates are represented by the functions f(x) and g(x). In what month do the funds in the f(x) bank account exceed those in the g(x) bank account?

f(x) =2^x g(x) = 4x+12

At month 5, both bank accounts accumulate the same amount and after that f(x) bank account starts exceeding g(x). I performed guess and check method to figure this out. Another method to do this would be to set f(x) = g(x) to find out the "x" that would make both equal each other; signifying the intersection point. The next number, aka the month, will be where f(x) is greater than g(x).
