I teach for success in most any subject with background and experience
Sometimes, a little false bravado helps. The audience doesn't know how you feel on the inside or how you are. Confidence in materials are one thing, but sometimes we need a little voice inside us that tells us to "just talk". Even if you bumble your way in your first outing in public speaking, it showed that you were able to finish the goal at hand, which is often the first step to becoming better.
In order to get good at it, we have to stink at it first.
