(2/5* 10x/1)+ (2/5*15/1)
Multiply
2*10=20 that is the new numerator for the first fraction
5 *1= 5 that is the new denominator for the first fraction
Repeat with the other quantity
• I did this the long way, but you can cross multiply here for the answer
2* 15=30 is the new numerator for the second fraction
5 * 1=5 is the new denominator for the second fraction
So now we have
(20x/5) + (30/5)
*let’s simplify
20/5=4
So we are left with 4x + (30/5)
30/5=6
Now we have the answer
