I need to create a menu for a video, which will be written onto a disk not in a DVD format, but as a single file (f.e. mp4). The problem is that programs such as Adobe Encore are not able (as far as I'm concerned) to create a 'standalone' menus (executable-like). What is the recommended way to do such a thing?
I have never seen a motions menu or menu similar to a DVD menu for video files. Encore is a DVD Publshing system because to make menus you have to have multiple random access. That is not the way video works. As far as I know of. There may be something in the virtual world that may be able to do this.
