In the musical 'Heathers' don't you think the story should've eded differently? Like Jason and Veronica end up together?

Not at all, by the end of the musical and in the movie Jason is beyond saving. It's as if they are saying that some people can be sometimes be out of control and you may not be enough. Though out Heathers Jason plans out schemes and clearly has a few screws in his head loose. That really why I believed it would never work. Not only that but it make you really think when is anything enough.
