The course required extensive knowledge of numpy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, and many of the tools found in the Sci Kit library. Coding including extensive work in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and predictive modeling. The machine learning topics included neural networks, clustering, K-means Nearest Neighbors, State Vector Machines, decision tree classifiers, random forest classifiers, AdaBoost classifier, and ensemble learning.
We've worked on projects related to simple python coding, machine learning and data analysis with Pandas, Matplotlib, NumPy, and Sci-kit Learn, analyzing RNA-seq data, data structures, and sequence alignment. Ethan always answers questions clearly and precisely, and sends excellent materials so that I can be productive inside and outside of the lesson. He is also a very great teacher when there is something that I don't understand.
