Hey Alyssa, first of all good luck with summer school :) Secondly, without just giving you the answer directly that is, you have to look at Germany, Italy, and even Japan and Spain after World War One for your answer. The economies of these countries were totally affected and turned to ways to help the common man and worker. In the case of Germany specifically they were also not pleased with the Weimar Republic (well at least in the early 1920's and after the Wall Street Crash in 1929). The economy dropped to about 4 trillion marks to the dollar and money was worthless. Many were unhappy. But, please don't think that everyone jumped on the Nazi bandwagon - that is not the case as they never really had the majority in the Reichstag. There were many ways Hitler gained control over Germany to lead the people, but in the end he became the furer. This is by far no simple answer to your problem and I could write books about this topic lol. If you want to discuss further please reach out to me as I love talking about it :)

In the modern world, democracy is linked with capitalism. Democracy allows individual political and economic freedom. Capitalism is based on individual economic freedom of choice.
