S = 3/4B (Samantha weighs 3/4ths of her brother's weight.)
S = 90 (Samantha weighs 90 pounds.)
3/4B = 90
3/4B * 4/3 = 90 * 4/3
B = 120 (And S = 90)

Use cross multiply so you need two fractions to be equal. First is given 3/4 the second is 90/b where b is brother's weight. You set it up by putting the smaller number on the top because that is how the given fraction is 3 smaller than 4. Does this help? 3/4 = 90/b
