Has there ever been a battle with only a single survivor?

Do we have record of any large scale battle (for example more than 1000 combatants) where only one person survived? I just thought of it randomly and wondered whether it may have ever happened.

I found this question discussed on several websites. After much reading, I believe it is impossible to answer with certainty. The question directly beneath it on this site qualifies "battle" as "large scale...more than 1000 combatants," with "only one person" surviving (no indication of whether from one side or in total). None of this information changes my stated belief.
