Break up your sentence into 'thought groups'. This will help! I will use bold type for syllable stress in this example. You might say, "I realize * that English is a * difficult language to learn, * but I am determined * to work hard * and master * the nuances of the language * and become a * fluent English speaker."

I am not sure what your question is, exactly, but when I work with English language learners, we break sentence into 'thought groups'. So for example, if your sentence is "I realize that it may take awhile for me to feel proficient with English, but I am determined to become proficient" could be broken up into these thought groups. I am using CAPITAL LETTERS for the STRESSES: I REalize * that it may TAKE aWHILE * for me to feel proFIcient * with ENglish, * but I am deTERmined * to beCOME proFIcient.07/03/19
