The area is length x width = 1800. And length is twice the width, so L = 2W

Put these together and get L x W = 1800, But L = 2W, so 2W x W = 1800

This means that 2W² = 1800

Divide both sides by 2

W² = 900

Take square root of both sides.

W = 30 feet.

L = 2W = 60 feet.
