Pumping question

Question

An engine pumping at 864 gallons an hour, and is being refilled at 869 gallons per hour. How long before the tank is empty?

If the pump is pulling out of the tank and the refill is into the tank and if the rates are linear, the tank will not go empty but will accumulate 5 gallons/hour!
