
What's the appropriate response to the "door knock" when you are in a fitting room?

Hello!
When someone knocks on the fitting room door, you can say:
- Occupied.
- Someone's in here.
Both of these are acceptable.
In English, unlike other languages, we do not refer to store employees with a specific title. Instead, you can use the common Miss, Ma'am, or Sir to get someone's attention. You can also simply say Excuse me.
