Math's a tool not a terror

Given the coordinates above (1, -3) and (5, 9) just use the Formula to calculate m, the slope

slope = m = (y_{2} - y_{1})/(x_{2} - x_{1})

After you calculate the slope m then just choose one set of coordinates in the Point Slope Form

y - y_{1} = m(x - x_{1})

Just plug in the values from the coordinates, give it a try.
