Considered as is rarely used in American English, and if it were used, the as is normally omitted: Adam is considered a good teacher. However, Adam is considered to be a good teacher is flagged by my built-in grammar checker, which prefers the active voice: Adam is a good teacher. So, the consensus is, use Adam is a good teacher for casual usage and Adam is considered to be a good teacher in formal instances. In my opinion, considered as would never be used in this country today.
Adam is considered a good teacher
Adam is considered to be a good teacher
Here are three instances I found while flipping through a grammar textbook:
· Why does one say, 'I was' and 'you were,' but saying 'If I were to' is considered correct too?
· Is 'fortnight' considered archaic now?
· Gates recalls being considered to be Obama's running mate.

The sentence should read, "Adam is considered to be a good teacher."The word "as" is used primarily in comparisons, such as; My teacher is as good as your teacher." In the sentence above, Adam is not being compared to anyone or anything, so "as" would not be used.06/10/19
