Andrew provided the algebraic answer which may well be the answer you seek. However, if you have not yet made it to Algebra, you can approach the problem in the following manner.
I know I am subtracting 11 from some number to get 19 as this is given in the problem. So what number when I subtract 11 from it, do I get 19. That number is 30 (30-11=19). 30, however, is not the answer. The first part of the problem says that you will multiply some number by 5 to get the 30 we just calculated. What number do you multiply by 5 to get 30? That would be 6 which is the answer.
