System of equations : how do I solve it? 3x-y=13 and 2x+2y=10

It is 2x + 2y, not 2x - 2y

ooops!!---that's why you should always check. Did you check to see if Patrick's answer is correct? Did you try my method with the correct sign?

Patrick's answer is correct but I needed to work it out with substitution. I tried your method with the correct sign and I got 9. All i know is that the coordinates are (4.5, 0.5)
