MY DAUGHTER HAS TO MAKE A CHART WITH DIFFERENT NUMBERS IN BLANKS. HOW DO I TEACH HER HOW TO GET THE RESULT?

The chart would be a straight line with slope of (3/4) which is 15/20.

 

If X is the number of tries, then the number of free throws (Y) would be  Y = (3/4) X.

 

Therefore for X =3, Y = 9/4 = 2 (1/4) = 2.25

 

for X = 4 then Y = 3

 

for X = 8 then Y = 6

 

for X=12 then Y = 9

 

and so on...
