There are a few ways to do this. The easiest way is to use the "Save as type" feature in Word. There is a pull down menu where you can select ".pdf" for this field. In order to find where the "Save as type" feature is, use the following steps:
- Click on the "File" menu.
- Select "Save As"
- Select the location where you want to save your file.
- Look for the field where you type in a file name. Below the row where the file name is entered, you should see another field called "Save as type". Look for the pull-down menu for this field.
- Scroll down to ".pdf" and select it.
- Click on "Save"
- Look for your newly saved file with the extension ".pdf" in the folder where you saved this version of your file.
Different versions of Word may have slightly different layouts for steps 3 and 4. However, the "Save as type" is usually listed right underneath the "file name" field.
I hope this response is helpful! Good luck!

You can batch convert multiple .pdf documents to a single .pdf document using a number of different free or low cost software packages. I recently downloaded PDFMate PDF Converter Professional. There is a free trial version that allows you to convert the first three pages of each pdf into a single document. It also allows you to convert files of different file types. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is another software that can convert single PDF files into one PDF file. Good luck!05/14/19
