Need two numbers, lets call them A and B.
Sum is 35 means A + B = 35
Difference is 15 means A - B = 15
A + B = 35
A - B = 15
Add vertically and the B's cancel, leaving 2A = 50
A = 25
A + B = 35
25 + B = 35
B = 10
