Greetings! Lets clear this up shall we ?
The polynomial function has a factor in common such that 4 goes into 8 and 4 in the expression so we factor a 4 out to get
4(2x-1).
This means that we have expressed 8x-4 using the distributive property by factoring out the common factor to get 4(2x-1).
I hope this helped!
